Thistle,CG, and yours truly had a wonderful time at the Academy of Sciences yesterday. Golden Gate Park was early springtime lovely. We were treated to a grand tour and Thistle particularly enjoyed the Eel Garden and Claude the albino alligator. It was nice to have a long, fun day. I am hoping to go back and have a full day exploring the entire place...it is VAST.
I am recuperating from the long day yesterday, and am enjoying the wonderful memories also.
My name is Joan McMillan and this blog is, as Emily Dickinson says, "my letter to the world." I am currently working on a nonfiction book about the murder of a young woman, Asha Veil, born Joanna Dragunowicz, and her unborn daughter, Anina, on September 9, 2006. My book is meant to honor her life and illuminate the need to create a safer world for women and children.
