Not pleased to hear that my personal happiness is irrelevant for the next couple of decades, that I have a parent's happiness: as long as Thistle is safe, I am happy. I can find my own happiness in gratitude for each day.

Are you doing better?

Still in the "I have been shot but keep walking" mode. Feeling a bit less shot.

Just remember, he tells me, you are enjoying what you have left. Thieves do not really enjoy what they steal.  Let the thieves be thieves.
