Wow--there is invisible art floating around Endinburgh! Click on the link to see what this is all about. According to my resident computer expert, Mr. Strega, you can basically "receieve" these images at various predetermined landmarks around the city, which you can locate via GPS technology on a cell phone. The art image is overlaid--Mr. Strega surmises--when you take a snapshot of the landmark. The technology is called Spellbinder.
Lots of interesting implications for this one, including the old visual joke of adding an extra face to Mt. Rushmore!
My name is Joan McMillan and this blog is, as Emily Dickinson says, "my letter to the world." I am currently working on a nonfiction book about the murder of a young woman, Asha Veil, born Joanna Dragunowicz, and her unborn daughter, Anina, on September 9, 2006. My book is meant to honor her life and illuminate the need to create a safer world for women and children.
