Well, I'm in bed, trying to stay still after the second molar extraction this year. Chemotherapy's legacy seems to be remaining in my dental care. I'm being assiduous about taking care of myself, but most especially with my recovery from this. Last time, I was not so careful and got an infection.
I'm having a hard time with communication regarding a friend who has slipped a bit back into my life. I am still afraid they will just stop communicating with me, without warning and without telling me until I contacted them and asked. I think this is just trauam
My name is Joan McMillan and this blog is, as Emily Dickinson says, "my letter to the world." I am currently working on a nonfiction book about the murder of a young woman, Asha Veil, born Joanna Dragunowicz, and her unborn daughter, Anina, on September 9, 2006. My book is meant to honor her life and illuminate the need to create a safer world for women and children.
