There is so much sad news right now, with the earthquake in Peru and the Utah mine disaster, so much sadness.
This is life, good and bad, the endless ebb and flow. Today I wanted to focus on a nice news story about New Jersey writer Harry Bernstein, who published his first book, The Invisible Wall, at the age of 96. Click on the link to see his story.
My name is Joan McMillan and this blog is, as Emily Dickinson says, "my letter to the world." I am currently working on a nonfiction book about the murder of a young woman, Asha Veil, born Joanna Dragunowicz, and her unborn daughter, Anina, on September 9, 2006. My book is meant to honor her life and illuminate the need to create a safer world for women and children.
